I warmly recommend to the attention of all you historians and students of
history, especialy to your esteemed sysop SuE, following book:"A History of
the American People", by Paul Johnson, publ. Harper/Collins; it is a waltzer
(921 pages,) but well worth it; well, after all, Churchill's "History of the
English Speaking Peoples" are 4 volumes, some 1750 pages, so this one is not
